Sea Life Minnesota, city’s prominent marine exhibit center is launching a big scale expansion plan. Aquarium officials announced that a $2 million expansion plan will be completed by March 2015. Stingray adventure exhibit will be the major development initiative in Minnesota aquarium future plan. At stingray adventure exhibit, guests will get a chance to touch and feed dozens of stingrays. Sea Life Minnesota’s stingrays are housed in a 15000 gallon touch pool. School children and small kids will be thrilled in viewing the stingray exhibition. Minnesota marine exhibit portray colorful marine life in Pacific without losing its charm. Shipwreck exhibition is another amazing attraction of Minnesota aquarium. Although expansion work is going on one side, this aquarium will not be closed.
Regular visitors of Sea Life Minnesota will get free ticket for a limited time to check out expansion plans in May 2015. Their proposed stingray pool is two and half times larger than current stingray tank. Multicolored fish varieties featured in Minnesota aquarium gives an ecstatic experience to visitors and expansion plans will make visitor experience more graceful. Expanded touch pools at Sea Life Minnesota will showcase distinct varieties of Northwest Pacific marine inhabitants. Minnesota marine exhibit holds the rare distinction of “world’s largest jellyfish collection” and “world’s largest underground shark exhibit”.
